We have three main categories: Introduction, Announcements, and Advertisements.  All fairly self-explanatory.

Click on a categorytitle and then click on the NEW TOPIC button to create a new message.  A Topic is a single message.  People can reply to that message, and all replies will be nested with the message.  

You can use the editing panel within the New Topic message creation to include URLs, links and formatting.  It is a little more than basic, but this is an entirely free service.

Scroll down the page for other editing options, including adding dates into the community calendar, also shown on the top panel.

You can click the radio button to 'Notify me when a reply is posted', or unclick to just post without notification.

You can also email or privately message (PM) the author by clicking on the envelope or PM button, respectively, in the right-hand panel.

Up top, you can check the Community Calendar, check and post Events, load photos from your event into a Gallery, and post articles, tutorials, recipes, …

You can also send Private Messages (PM) and check any messages received by clicking on the envelope symbol or the adjoining text.

There is also a Search function, and options to view members, usergroups and your own profile, which you can change.
